The Scoop:
I'm a writer.  I'd like to live on the moon.  I drive a red Neon.  I work at a bookstore.  On October 5, 2004, I'll be 31 years old--which I think is more of a milestone than turning 30 was, because I survived an entire year of "the 30s."  I still like "happy meals."  Grimace and the Hamburgular are my favorite McDonalds characters. With a little luck, I may be heading back to college in the autumn.  I believe that if people were able to overcome everything they've been taught to believe, the impossible would become possible--I mean who says humans can't fly?  Why the hell not?  During my more optimistic moments, I truly believe that the man of my dreams not only exists, but it out there looking for me, too.  I only hope I meet him before I finally just give up.

The Poop:
Kevin Smith is wicked-cool.  So is Paul Westerberg.  I want to visit New Orleans, Paris, Minneapolis, New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, Cambridge, England, but not necessarily in that order.  I want to learn to play guitar.  Right now, there's a lion staring at me.  I write stories about people I know, then change all the names, just to see if they recognize themselves.  Invariably, they don't.  I've stopped believing in an afterlife--you get one ticket for the tilt-a-whirl.  If you fuck it up, there are no second chances.  I've never been on a roller coaster, but I want to.  I read the "Communist Manifesto" once every year.  I like foreign, silent, art films,  and documentaries as well as your typical Hollywood fare.  I like cereal--specifically "ChocoDonuts" and "Fruity Pebbles."  I think that's enough. My guiltiest guilty pleasure:  I love all the 80's nostalgia stuff--rubiks cubes, Miami Vice, all those pointless songs, the "BratPack" movies, etc....

If I could have just one wish, I would wish for:
Enough money so that I could just spend the rest of my life doing what I choose to do (most likely writing), instead of trying to please my boss.  I don't want to be filthy rich--I just want to have a decent place to live, a good car, a little money to have fun with, and a decent amount of money saved to take care of the inevitable "rainy days."

One truly memorable experience:
Late summer/Early Fall 2003:  It wasn't really just one experience, but for a few Saturday nights in a row, the same group of people all starting showing up regularly (most of them "legendary" in capping circles--Hippie, Jazzsoda, keogh, cisco3600,just to name a few), and I had the chance to be a part of that.  It hasn't been that way since, but I keep hoping it will happen again.  Those few weeks were probably the most fun I've ever had while capping.
