Won't you please tell us something about yourself?
I’m just a not
so normal college student with a wacky sense of humor attending Kent
State University. I ain’t very funny, but that doesn’t stop me from
capping to amuse myself. I kill me. Plus, I like reading all of your
captions because all of you possess some real comedic genius.
Any significance to your capping handle?
I love Star Trek and Captain in Spanish sounds cool. I spell it with a ‘K’ instead of a ‘C’ just to be different I suppose.
How did you discover Caption This! and/or Inventing Situations?
This
is a not so funny story. I loved MST3k because it was one of the
funniest shows of all time, and I finally decided to check out the
website in January of 2002. That’s when I discovered Caption This! and
was immediately hooked. Caption That!/Inventing Situations was brought
to my attention by shameless promotion in the Caption This! caption
gallery, and I’ve been capping there too since Febuary of 2002. Now I
do most of my capping at Inventing Situations. I told you it wasn’t
funny.
When do you usually cap?
It’s
pretty random, actually. I usually try capping at least 3 times a
week, and it’s almost always between the hours of noon and midnight,
eastern time. Although, I can stay up pretty late on weekends just
capping.
Favorite sites on the internet (Other than CT/IS)?
The
only other sites I spend a decent amount of time on are GlitterRock’s
Cap-Page Board (more capping fun!) and ESPN’s site (I’m a huge sports
fan).
Favorite movie(s)/television show(s)?
Favorite
shows: MST3k (stating the obvious is fun, and so is repitition), The
Simpsons (D’oh!), The X-Files (I want to believe...that Cancer Man is
finally dead...), and Star Trek (all of ‘em, even Voyager and
Enterprise)
Favorite movies: Star Wars (all of ‘em, even the
prequels), Spaceballs (May the schwartz be with you.), and Star Trek
I-IX (soon to be I-X)
If time and/or money weren't an object, what one thing would you do?
I would go to remote areas across the planet where there is minimal light pollution and just stare at the stars all night.
Any words of advice you'd like to pass along?
We
may argue about how and when we were creatd, but we can all agree that
we live in a wonderous universe. (Now for the stuff I didn’t make up
but like saying.) Laughter is the best medicine. Be excellent to each
other. Party on dudes! There are always possibilities. The truth is
out there. Knowledge is power. (‘Nuff said.)
