Won't you please tell us something about yourself?

Well, as of this writing, I'm 29 and fancy myself a writer (an unpublished writer anyway), although I still haven't convinced myself I'm all that good at it, but I don't know if that really matters anyway. Sometimes I think maybe the reward is actually in the act instead of in the final payoff. I believe that the most important thing anyone can hope to accomplish in life is to find a way to really "connect" with other people on a personal, emotional level. Politically, I'm decidedly left-wing bordering radicalism, and believe communism in its purest form (as described by Marx & Engells, not the stereotypical form) doesn't sound like such a bad idea, although I think that the chances of the human race realizing that in my lifetime are pretty slim.

Any significance to your capping handle?

I am the reincarnation of Clara Bow. No, seriously, it's the title of a Paul Westerberg song from the album "Mono/Stereo"

How did you discover Caption This! and/or Inventing Situations?

Was introduced to CT! by "Hippie," a couple months ago and have gotten totally addicted since then. Haven't been to Inventing Situations yet--plan to, though.

When do you usually cap?

Anytime between midnight and 8 a.m.

Favorite sites on the internet (Other than CT/IS)?

The Commune, View Askew, Rotten Tomatoes, Paul Westerberg and Pink Floyd music sites

Favorite movie(s)/television show(s)?

Movies: Amelie, Highlander Series, Moulin Rouge, Dark City, Chasing Amy, Clerks, to name just a few.
TV: Most of the shows I like have been cancelled: Miami Vice, SeaQuest, Forever Knight, La Femme Nikita, Highlander, X Files, although I do like all the "Adult Swim" cartoons.

If time and/or money weren't an object, what one thing would you do?

Alternate capping sessions with writing sessions most likely.

Any words of advice you'd like to pass along?

Capping's much funner if you don't censor yourself in any way. Trust me, there's really nothing you can't say; cappers are NOT easily offended.
