Won't you please tell us something about yourself?
See above... and below...
Any significance to your capping handle?
I
used to play Keyboards/sing (full-time) in the 80’s. If you weren't
ever there (the 80's), then you can look at all the documentaries to
see (some) what you missed. I took a lot of pictures of my exploits,
had way too much fun... then earned a Bachelors Degree in Computer
Information Systems (while playing part-time in various musical groups
on the early 90’s). I iz A programr, but I miss the musician benefits
of the 15 minute breaks every 45 minutes while being able to drink for
free on the job. Not really doing the music thing (I sell out as a "DJ"
from time to time). At least now I have a nice ski boat to compensate
as my current "activity generator" (instead of the music thing).
How did you discover Caption This! and/or Inventing Situations?
It’s
been too long ago to remember how... but by the looks of things
"ANYONE" reading this has also "been there & done that"...
When do you usually cap?
When I’m at the computer logged into a link, such as: http://www.scifi.com/screengrab/caption.cgi?1007083791.
IS THIS GONNA BE ON THE EXAM?? Actually I like to Cap Star Trek &
give kudos to those other like capperz who truly need their "fix" on
Caption This.
Favorite sites on the internet (Other than CT/IS)?
Please use your search engines "Advanced" search options... and do a keyword search for "favorite sites on the internet".
Favorite movie(s)/television show(s)?
See
preceding question. However, it is noteworthy to add that Hugh Beaumont
(Ward Cleaver in "Leave it to Beaver") was in many sci-fi movies. Rent
"The Mole People" (DVD/VHS) and ask yourself "Hey, isn't that Wally and
Beavers dad?" (without the pipe - he used a flashlight). By the way,
conspiracy theorists have sources to prove that the father on Leave It
To Beaver was a drug dealer. Have you ever noticed that Ward never
really did anything at the office when any of those rare office scenes
were shown? Was that a .45 in his briefcase with his "papers"? And no
one EVER discussed that Ward ever did during the day, but he smoked
from that pipe in the evenings. Interesting that he was born (in
Lawrence, Kansas) 20 miles away from where I live... ANSWER ME THAT,
MR. OLIVER STONE!!
If time and/or money weren't an object, what one thing would you do?
I dunno … buy that new 68-foot performance sport Yacht at:
http://www.searay.com/index.asp?display=brochure&tab=8&modelid=34935
Please note: This is just the 2002 model with a few minor electronic
enhancements. At least the price is still $2.7 million dollars (hint –
buy the optional bow thrusters, you’ll be glad you did). Don’t forget
to take the virtual tour while at their website...
Any words of advice you'd like to pass along?
Work & play well with others...
